Dr. Yutaka Takahashi - Japan
Yutaka Takahashi M.D., Ph.D. is associate professor at Division of Diabetes and Endocrinology, Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan. He completed clinical training in internal medicine and endocrinology at Kobe University Hospital. His main fields of interest are pituitary diseases, particularly adult growth hormone deficiency and acromegaly. He has found novel clinical entities related to pituitary disease including bioinactive GH, NASH in adult GH deficiency, and anti-PIT-1 antibody syndrome. He is a vise president of The Japanese Society for Hypothalamic and Pituitary Disease, advisor of The Japan Endocrine Society, and director of The Japan Neuroendocrine Society. He has received numerous awards including Outstanding Investigator Award from The Japan Endocrine Society and The Japanese Society for Hypothalamic and Pituitary Disease and plenary lecture in the international congress of the GRS-IGF society. |
